DI Finds and Odd People

Have you ever been to the DI in Logan?

Ok! im going to make this quick!

I was at the DI Wednesday,

I usually go just to kill time and get out of the house!

I rarely find home decor items

On this special occasion i found this thick green antique looking candle holder on the carts that are there for the workers to put away.

I saw it! I started to pick up my pace to insure that i wasn't going to have to have a tug a war match with a 75 year old woman

(trust me, it has almost happened)

ha ha

another story another time

I make it to the cart

ITS MINE!!

I was surprised no one snatched it!?

I tell myself,

I'll wait for two more carts to come out in hopes that a second one will appear

and i will have a set.

Im waiting....

I see this lady off to the side and she is sitting on the chairs with her cart full of stuff but isnt shopping.

I tell myself....

She is waiting for the carts to come out

So...I keep my eye on her...

All these people around me are competitive

and trying to get to the next great

DI Find!

Side note - Some of the "chair stockers" as i like to call them will sometimes because they stock the carts and wait in the chairs right by the carts.

Side Note - Sometime "chair stockers" help the workers put the stuff away, so the carts will get emptied faster and more full carts will come out faster.

3 empty carts get pulled away

while 3 full carts are coming my way and

what do i see the 2nd candle stick!

BUT,

the out of the corner of my eye

i see the chair stocker get up and move closer

and faster to my candle stick!

I left james by the toys

i started walking right along side the cart,

the chair stocker was on the other side of the cart.

Im trying not to make eye contact,

this candlestick is MINE!

I try to grab for it, the worker stops me!

Side note-- There's a DI rule, that the cart has to stop before anyone can grab anything from off it. (didn't know about that)

Im along side the cart, and it starts to slowdown but i

am in the way for where it is suppose to stop...

I grabbed it! There Mine!

but don't forget the "chair stocker"

she yelled "HEY!"

Than the worker who was maybe 17 years old gave me a lecture

Twice!!

Still trying not to make eye contact

with the "chair stocker"

another DI worker who was much much

older came up to me and said

"You did good!"

Now what am i suppose to believe??

The chair stocker still hasn't left me alone she attempts to approach me but i get james and book it out of there!

I tell myself...Should i go back and see if i can get 3 candlesticks???

NO!! haha

Crochet Madness

When I was pregnant with James, I started to teach myself to crochet.

I picked up one of those

"I taught myself to Crochet"

books from Michael's

and it came with 5-6 hooks and other odds and ends.

That book was fine,

but i am a VERY VERY Visual Learner!

It was difficult for me to understand what the photos were showing me,

any who..... I gave up!

Until James was about 5 months, I decided to take another crack at it!

I went to our local Library

(i highly recommend)

i checked out a kids learn to crochet book.

This book was straight to the point,

used normal language not "crochet terminology"

and had very useful photos for me to easily follow along!

Yes!

A 3rd grader's book taught me how to crochet!

And i havent looked back since!

To protect my investment i made "Crochet Roll"

out of a fabric placemat!

That's right!

An ordinary kitchen placemat!

I should give credit to pinterest because i did get the idea from them

however i made mine with some twists!

I lined the placemat with extra fabric i had laying around the house

I decided not to have the placemat me the outside but the inside!

I made 11 1-inch wide pockets

for the hooks to fit in nicely

and on one end i made a bigger pocket to out a pen, paper, scissors, pin markers etc.

So whenever im crocheting

i will have all my supplies right at my fingertips!

I have never ever thought i could

crochet baby booties

but i tried!

The first one is a little wider than the second

Do it Yourself: Nursing Cover

I wanted to make a new nursing cover this time around but with a few new and improved modifications that i thought would help make an ordinary nursing cover into the best nursing cover ever!

Things I wanted to Change were:

- Size

- Pockets

- Lighter breathable fabric

- I wanted to line it with another fabric

- I wanted a wider "U" to peek down to see my little guy

I have to admit i did not come up with the size of the nursing cover,

my sister got one from her baby shower that is just so big and covers all of you that i got the dimensions from her.

I got the Fabric at Joann's with a 40% coupon I got 2 yards,

only because i didn't know at the time how much i needed.

you would totally be fine with 1 1/2 yard!

At least now i have extra and maybe

i'll make a nursing cover/diaper/wipe pouch to have all in one neat pouch!

Thats another project for another time! =)

I made mine 29x40

I used a lightweight cotton and to

line it i bought Muslin material that is super super light and breathable!

The reason why i wanted to choose a lighter weight fabric

is because my previous one was super thick and

every time no matter hot or cold James always came out sweating super bad!

I'm hoping this will lessen the chance of sweating!

(cross your fingers)

I put pockets on each side

because as your nursing there are things you might need

and it would be more convenient to just have it already there in your nursing cover

instead of trying to

juggle a nursing baby and getting things out of your diaper bag!

I have been in full

made etc.

I've been loving it!

I made a baby blanket from extra minky material

I had from a previous project

i didn't want it to go to waste!!

I did have to cut and match the pieces together

instead of just having one solid color on the back

I got the top fabric at Joann's they were having a

sale on flannel for $2.39 yard

i did accent it with an applique of a frog

I just wish i drew it a lot bigger!

at least ill know for next time...

jazz vs. kings

Jeremy and his brothers all got tickets to go to a Jazz game this season, and at the last minute one of his brothers decided not to go!

YAY for ME!!

HE wanted to go to the BYU . St. Mary's game (which they got there butt's spanked)

Still YAY for ME!

It was so much fun to go on a date with my hubby without James

there are few occasions

that we go on our date nights without Jammers!

Remember last week when there was that super super sunny warm day??

James was particularly getting stir crazy being cooped up inside all the time, so why not?

We definitely took advantage of the wonderful warm weather!

We called James pal Donovan from our ward and after there naps we trucked on over to Ryan's Park. I've been trying to find this park for sometime now

and if you now me i am not good at directions!

Thank goodness for Lindsay!

I just love these candid photos of the boys!

It is such a cute park, and i was totally excited to take the boys there!

They LOVED it! It had boats, airplanes, swings, and towers everything James is currently infatuated with! We spent a good 2 hours there, and than the cold breeze came and we (me) got cold but the boys

were so fun to watch and play with!

Recovered Throw Pillows

My Family room is full of brown and beige colors and for the longest time I have been wanting to add a pop of color in there. However, it took me forever to decide on what color that would be. I've decided on the ever so popular lemongrass green! I love it! Everyone i feel seems to be choosing this color, and yes i am jumping on the band wagon...who cares right??

We bought these brown throw pillows right when we got married because we had a different couch and it had a olive green slip cover over it so the brown was fine but when we bought these couches in April 2010, it was a little too much on blah colors...if you know what i mean! =)

On PINTEREST! i found many, many tutorials on recovering pillows, however since i am a beginner sewer extraordinar...ha ha =) some of the tutorials were hard for me to understand but i LOVED THIS one! It had photos for every step, measurements for different size pillows, instructions in laman terms for a very beginner sewer like myself could follow it was such a useful tool to keep referring back too!

DIY: felt rosette decor

Like i said in the a previous post, i am trying to decorate my kitchen in mustard yellow and red. I saw this on Pinterest and it comes with a free tutorial!

I purchased my foam balls at Hobby Lobby, I have found that they are usually the cheapest when it comes to crafts and they always have a 40% off coupon every week so i used that too!

I got the felt at Joann's and it was on sale $2.99 a yard and i got a yard in a half, and i also had to purchase straight pins.

I like taking them because when i was younger i always was looking at my baby album, and my siblings and loved seeing all the photos of my mother as a young mom and now i can relate and its a little tradition that i keep with myself that i hope my children would like to see mom pregnant with them!

My New Addiction: DIY Shutters

Bought these shutters at the DI $8 back in the summer (i'm a procrastinator) and painted them and now i am finally posting pictures of my DIY Shutters. I first got the idea from Pinterest, the most addicting website!

You can go here and see what i was trying to copy. I've been slowly but surely trying to decorate my kitchen in mustard yellow and red! I love these colors!! I painted the shutters a mustard yellow and maybe i'm thinking of adding fabric felt red flowers in and around the shutters...

What makes me a little annoyed is that i put a primer underneath so, when i distressed it (or tried too) the red would poke through and that is where i was hoping to get my red. Unfortunately, i found it hard to distress and i should of added at least two more coats of the primer.

But, that is what it's all about, learning new skills and trying something new and loving it no matter how it turns out!

I think if i ever get to expert i would be a little more critical of my work but as for my first wood, sanding, spray painting project...i did alright.

I totally am a spoiled girl! We had an awesome holiday season and my dad came up for a quick visit to Utah! He brought up my younger sister for a "social life" ha..ha (another story) He drove up with her to make sure everything drove smoothly with the car and such! Isn't he a good dad?? I think so!

They got her Wednesday and I went and picked him up from Alpine and he spent 5 days with us! I loved it! I know he mostly was here to hang with James but it was fin to have my immediate family around as i do not get to see them very often! Two out of my three sisters, (sorry em! you were missed!!) Came to Logan, it just kept getting better and better! All my sisters are awesome!

Saturday we were all together so we went bowling at the Fun Park! It was so much fun to relax and not worry. We spent most our afternoon there, it was cosmic bowling for almost the entire time, i don't know which i like better??

Christmas 2011'

Christmas was so much fun this year! We got spoiled! We are so blessed to have two wonderful families that love and support us! This was the first year since we've been married that we stayed in Utah! And i was seriously hoping for a white Christmas!! I remember our first Christmas, Jeremy's brother asked me, "What do you guys do on Christmas without any snow?" I chuckled, and said what everyone else does go to the pool!! Haha no, we play with our toys, watch the new movies we got, try on our clothes to make sure everything fits etc. This Christmas I was hoping to see what he does on Christmas, but there was no snow!

James got a Basketball Hoop from Santa he was so excited!!

Jeremy got a magic Bullet, and we seriously use it everyday!

OK!! JEREMY SPOILED ME!!! I GOT A SEWING MACHINE!
If i was that small and didn't have a baby bump i would be hugging it like James!!

Coming Home

Jeremy's brother Spencer has been gone for 2 years and has finally returned! I saw him a little bit when Jeremy and I were dating and when we got married i got to know him a lot better and vice versa!

I love him! And He came home just 4 days before christmas too!! What a Christmas gift for everyone!!

I was very excited for him to come home plus AGAIN, we hadn't told him we were pregnant so our goal was just to hug him and he would see this BELLY and be like "OMG, YOUR PREGNANT!" and have a great laugh about it! But I think someone let the cat out of the bag without telling us! We were excited to play this trick on him but we didn't get the reaction we had hoped for! So, after all our scheming someone did tell him, but thats ok! We still had fun playing it out!

NEWS FLASH

Didn't you know thanksgiving was just yesterday! =) I know you can yell at me, I have been a very bad blogger! I've been meaning to post but, just have been busy and tired! There has been so many exciting things happening in our little family! So, please forgive all the posts!!

We Love the Park

When there was still nice weather we LOVED going to the park! James absolutely loves it! He is a very independent boy, and the park gives him his freedom to run around and do whatever he wants (all within reason...of course!) He loves slides, going up the stairs, to getting so close to the edge you think he is going to go down the slide standing up or tumbling down, he especially likes to go down backwards! It is so much fun to see him grow up and be this little ball of energy! One big Bonus is it always tires him out!! =)

James also adores his DAD! and his DAD absolutely adores him right back! They are so cute together! They not only look exactly alike, but James wants to do and act just like his Dad! I really is pretty funny to see! ie: Jer was watching a football game with his arms crossed and James goes stands right next to him and folds his arms and yells at the TV just like his Dad! It is just so precious to watch, it seriously melts my heart!

Halloween!

halloween 2011' was so much fun!! It was truly an all day event! At first James and I were just going to go to the mall but upon driving down main street they were doing a trick or treat walk so of course i pulled over and we walked up and doen both sides of main street! We did score tons of candy! than we went to lee's they had a cute little spook alley and that was fun, and throughout the store had little stations to pick up candy! Than we headed to the mall and got a lot of candy there! It was fun becasue there was so many kids James's age that went!

THAN!! haahaha we took a nap from our sugar high! hahaa Around 6:30 we went and did our traditional trick or treating we took his little Buzz car and he drove it all around the streets, it was so cute! I think its what scored him more candy... we did about two in a half blocks before we went over to our ward halloween party!! It was so much fun they had so many fun stations, we both won on the cake walk! I was very excited! And we a hot yummy meal, and tons of treats! All in ALL a very busy day!

Fiction: Never could get it quite right

Clone of a Cinnabon

I liked this recipe at first, it was super easy and fast. However, when I put it in the oven it only called for 20 minutes but the rolls were still doughy and all the flavoring from inside had spilled out! I have tried this recipe many times due to the fact it is mostly likely ME, but everytime all the flavoring is drain out , and the dough is cooked so i leave it longer and than they are n't golden brown! So, i probabally wont use this recipe.

FACT: LOVE IT!!!

Cream Cheese Pound Cake

I was craving bread/dessert type of thing one sunday and came upon this pound cake! It is so simple! Seriously! I went and got a bundt cake pan at the DI for $2 because i didn't know if i would end up liking it etc. And the ones at Walmart were $12. Deal!! HERE is the fabulous easy recipe! My only tweaks i would add is to put the oven at 325 degrees, and keep checking on it after its been in for 45 minutes. the recipe says 300 degrees but i have had to keep it in WAY longer than the recipe calls for. Also, make sure the cream cheese is room temp. if not make sure it is all thoroughly mixed in or you will get chunks of cream cheese throughout your pound cake.

WREATH

Made this wreath in two days! Could most likely be done in one without a toddler running and grabbing at you. ;) I purchased the yarn at Hobby Lobby got two you will definitely need two! purchase the felt at Micheals, they sell individual 8x11 sheets for 25 cents. i got two of each color. Instead of just six flowers total, i did between 10-12 all different sizes. if you look back in my blog you can see my finished wreath. HERE you can find all the materials and how to do it.

FACT: EASY with a few modifications

3 Twisted Buns

I did this hairstyle for my baby sisters high school graduation, it stayed in great for the graduation, but as for the party not so much! You definitely want to pin it good but not super tight where it will give you a headache all night. This is a fun hairstyle, you can wear it to school, a party, church etc. Here is the website, go check it out! Also, Here is another tutorial doing the same hairstyle, with a lot clearer pictures.

Fact: No heat Curls

I love this method! I have been getting into no heat curls and i have tried a few! I like HER video/tutorial! My first time trying this out i did a lot of twists and my hair came out like shirley temple! The next time i did bigger sections with more hair, really i only had 4 twists in my hair compared to like 7-8! The key i think is to wash your hair at night let it air dry but it is still damp and that is when you want to do your hair. For ladies that have thin hair you probably want to add a volumzier. ladies with thick/tons of hair you want to add more twists! For ladies like me with medium to thick hair not to many twists.

FACT: Works!

Sock Curls

This is by far my favorite No Heat method, however this video shows her putting them all over, that works if you have a ton of hair and thick. Since mine is more medium to thick i only put three in. One on the top/crown of my head and than one on each side of my head. (One on top, than two hanging from each side like if you were going to braid your hair) I like put in some anti frizz in, or use whatever you put in your hair while it is still wet. If you dont put anything in it will still work! Here is where you can find her video tutorial!

Nails
I went out and bought the reinforcement stickers, and some nail polish. what you do is put on the lighter color first, and than once they were dry put the stickers on and paint with the darker color. It might be the nail polish i bought but, when i tried to take the stickers off they pulled the bottom layer of polish off.

FACT: LOVE it
Quick Curls
I like this tutorial/photos because when your trying to get somewhere fast and still want to look presentable this is the quick and easy solution! I've done this many times when just running errands, to waking up late for church and this is the only thing that will work, i did it for work. I like it! You just take four sections, secret is to wait till the curl cools down and than run your fingers through them. (they will last longer)

Hello ALL!! If you haven't heard of pinterest it is your lucky day!! I love turning people on to pinterest! It makes me feel that my addiction to pinterest has spread to yet another!

I have been doing a lot of pinterest crafts, hair tutorials, cooking tips, and recipes and this post is going to tell you what i've learned if they really work!??

Crafts:

FACT: JUST NEEDS A LITTLE TWEAKING

I've made the paper flowers, but not with the vase and branches, it is super cute! But when you have an 18 month old that wants to touch, grab, carry anything i saw the potential of this project not making it till christmas! I liked this tutorial you can add flowers to anything: gift, scrapbook, etc. The only critique i have is to cut the circle with a wave instead of straight line the more curvy or different the better i thought!

FACT: WORKS

This project was more of my inspiration a little adaptation to this one! I've have been becoming more and more interested in DIY projects (do it yourself) and i had saved empty half gallon juice boxes and cut the tops off and than cut a slant into the juice box, so it looks like this to my right. I made three because i have tons of pens, highlighters, markers, crayons always floating around it seems i wanted them to have a place and the project cost me less than $10!

FACT: WORKS

I found shutters at the DI for $8..i know a steal! I sanded and sanded which i felt like took the longest. I decided to paint it a mustard yellow and distress it so the red will show through after i sand it again! I got the paint from Walmart was really surprised they could actually get the color i wanted and it is going to hang in my kitchen ( i will post pictures soon)

FACT: NEEDS A LITTLE....

Its called EGG BRUNCH CASSEROLE you put it in before you go to bed and wake up in the morning ready to eat a warm home cooked meal! If you want the recipe you can find it here.

The reason why i wanted to try it out was because on sunday mornings it always seems that eating breakfast is what gets skipped so i put it in the night before i was afraid it would burn so I put the timer on for 10 hours...you should do 8 hours! I still was good but was in for just a little to long!

Also, i would so sausage instead of bacon, add some green onions, and really whatever veggie you prefer.

FACT: TOTALLY WORKS

In fact, i just tried out this method tonight for dinner! Don't you hate when your making anything that calls for shredded chicken about how long it is going to take? Well, this will take the time down to 20 seconds! YEP! Believe it 20 seconds! However, if you do not own a kitchen aid or a device to similar to the same thing than you are stuck doing it by hand..sorry! The trick is to throw the chicken in the kitchen aid when it is still hot! With the paddle attachment put the speed between 4 and 6 and within 20 second perfectly shredded chicken! there might be some bigger chunks of chicken that you can just hand shred but besides that i will be doing this for the rest of my life!

FACT: YUMMY!

I've never made a calzone and thinking back I cannot recall ever ordering one. I wanted to try it, and this meal cost me $0!

Here is the recipe it really is super easy! My calzone included pepperoni, ham, cheese, and green peppers. I just wish i had more veggies in it! All the ingredients were already in my fridge and side note it is a really good recipe to get rid leftovers of veggies etc. I had the dough already i actually cut it into strips to braid it, i felt like a super chef! I took a step back after i was finished and said to myself that was easy and this looks pretty cool. My only compliant, I needed to leave it in just 5 min. longer!

there hasn't been a lot happening lately! we went to Rexburg in the beginning of September to take my youngest sister to college! WEIRD! There are no more kids at home! My parents are empty nesters after 27 years of kids in the house! SAD! But i think they are ready for a new chapter in their lives!

We have got into our groove of school and work! james is going to be 18 months this month and i cannot believe my little guy...not so little anymore he is getting so tall! 18 months have flown by! it's so crazy to think that in 6 short months we will have a 2 year old! Craziness if you ask me!! the older he has gotten the more interest he has in helping me clean! it is so funny, he has his own vacuum that actually can pick up dirt and he loves it! He also likes to wear his towel like a big boy now, i assume he saw his dad wear his towel like this and now that is why he wants to wear it like that! But here is our little domestic king! He really loves to vacuum, mop, brush his teeth, do the dishes, try to fold laundry, and picks up his toys!

Jeremy did his first 5k run this past month and he did AWESOME!! He did it all by himself, i was going to run it with him but i had to work that day and i didn't think i could run a 5k and than stand for 6 hours. (just me) Any-who!! He loved it, the obstacles were fun and What guy doesn't like to get muddy?? Here are a few pics i snapped of him while he was running! The atmosphere was so fun that i was SO excited to watch him and take photos!!

James did such a good job all morning waiting for dad to finish his race but by the time Jer was rinsing off he was ready to go home!!

Homemade Salsa and Freezer Jam

I’ve been wanting to learn to make freezer jam and salsa because Jeremy loves his mom’s freezer jam and it tastes better knowing that you made it! Hhahaha! I went down to Perry one day to learn from my mother in law how to make freezer jam and canned Salsa! I was looking forward to this day! I got there at 10am and left around 3:00pm and we canned 12 cans of Salsa, and over at least 15 freezer jams and

all different flavors: we made raspberry, raspberry peach, raspberry boysenberry, boysenberry, and peach! They all turned out fabulous!! It was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be!

However, for the salsa that was a litter trickier! We started doing salsa because it takes so long to cut up all the veggies! We cut tons onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, green peppers, and green chilies! Than we had to let the salsa come to a boil which took a little while because we double the recipe and it was a huge pot! Than we put the salsa in the cans and than the cans into a different pot of water (so they will seal) had to come to a boil and stay for 20 min. and than had to let them sit for a while. We were doing it all at once my mother in law was handling the salsa while I was dishing out the freezer jam into containers! I really enjoyed learning how to can salsa and make freezer jam!! I’ve already on my second salsa can and almost halfway done with my first jam!!

Seriously! Where has the time gone! It is the last day in August and I can’t believe I haven’t blogged since early July! What has been happening in the Ormsby Fam:

· Whitney got a job working at Al’s Sporting Goods, I know definitely not the job I want fresh after graduating from College…but you do what you gotta do…right??

· Jeremy starting working for his uncle down in Utah County, which meant we only saw each other on the weekends! Promise you everyone we haven’t gone inactive just been down there every weekend

· My sister Haley came and stayed with us for a month, it was so nice not to be alone and have some company

· School started for Jeremy

· Going to be learning to make homemade Salsa and freezer Jam…. Very Excited about that!!

· Been refinishing our desk…hopefully the idea in my head will be as good as it will turn out in real life! Hahaa

Well, when I write it down it doesn’t seem that I’ve been busy hardly but I sure feel it! This weekend Jer is running in the Man Vs Mud 5k this weekend! My parents and sister will be coming to visit next weekend!! We have some fun things ahead!

4th of July

I know im out of order but we had such a fun 4^th this year!! We started it off with a bang and went to the crusin’ we didn’t go last year because James was so little and we were still in California! But I loved looking at old cars and see what the owners have done to restore their cars. However, there were a few cars that shouldn’t of been in there! Like, Scion Xb come on…a Toyota corolla is better than that! Or the 90’s version of the ford mustang… I think that model is the ugliest they ever made! But there were some great great cars that showed off their stuff!

I just love all his expressions!

On the 4^th we spent the day with Jeremy’s Family in Perry, UT! We went to Perry Days, had a yummy breakfast that raised money for the local medical volunteers! Which im a great fan of, because when I fell of the horse a year ago the first ones on the scene to assist me were volunteers…and they were wonderful!! We also had the first annual Perry parade! Jeremy’s dad made a float and jer and James got to ride it and throw candy! I was also able to be a participant as being a driver to my brother in laws funny float! It was labeled SONS OF PERRY! There purpose was to show all the ladies that they were single and ready to mingle! They had huge posters with all their REAL phone numbers, we were bumpin to NYSNC, BACKSTREET BOYS, and some BRITNEY SPEARS!! (Sad, I remember all the words and even the dance moves...ahahha) I think we were the best float because once they read the signs tons of smiles and laughter went through the crowd, PLUS I’ve never seen so many girls whip put their phones and try to hurry and get their numbers! It was such a fun day!! I wouldn’t mind making this a tradition!!

James and I went to willow park Zoo!! Which is fun and cheap!! We love to be outside and have a blast! We saw monkeys, and I swear when we said hi they looked at us and than smiled at us, it happened two or three times, finally when I got my camera out they stopped doing it! We saw bobcats, turtles, Taurus, bald eagle, elk, ravens, crane, swans, and tons and tons of fish & birds! It was a fun afternoon!

I just kept following the Peacock until i scared it away and jumped the fence on me!

James turned 1 in April, and I have been patiently waiting taking his one-year photos due to the fact my best friend Crystal and she lives in California, so while i was done there i was able to sneak in a photo session with a very busy photographer, mom of 2, and wife!! She Is an AMAZING photographer and as of recently started her own photography business!! She has done so much already; she has done my younger sisters graduation photos, and my nephew’s newborn photos! And ALL have seriously turned out great!! Life has been to say the least CRAZY! We are not in Illinois anymore we moved back to Logan in the beginning of June, and James and I arrived last week! We were in California for a month! I know! My husband is the BEST! He always is very sweet to me to let me go visit my family for a while! But I must say a month is just a little too long for me! I love my Family to pieces but it was so hard to be away from Jeremy!

Any of you out there spend long periods of time away from your loved one, how do you get through it?

There were many reasons why i stayed for so long first, My Baby sister, and the last of five kids Graduated from High school and is off to BYU- Idaho in the Fall! Very happy that she will be closer to me so we can see each other more often!!

My Nephew's Baby Blessing! Jack George Moran! He is just the sweetest thing next to James! He has crazy hair everywhere and I love it! He is my favorite nephew ever!! It was so nice to be able to support my sister and bro in law in there big day! There was so many people who came to show the love for this little guy, it was a wonderful day to be with family and friends!

My Mother bless her heart! Had a goal to finish college the same time as her youngest Hanna would graduate from High School! Over the past four years she has not taken off one semester she has taken summer school ever year and each semester has at least taken a 16 credit load! I don't know about you, and if you even know what 16 credits feels like alone, but with a husband and kids still at home it was probably very hard for her to get things done on time! She always has been a multi tasker and it showed to be very beneficial for her. She graduated with honors and was even nominated for the student of the year!

I was so excited to be there on her day! I am so proud of her! When her class started walking out the tears just started to flow I hadn't even seen her yet! I am so proud of your hard work, sacrifice and perseverance! I was so glad to see her walk across the platform and gladly accept her diploma! Mom your Awesome!!!

I don’t know if everyone knew but Jer and I moved to Illinois for the summer to try out the sales game. I don’t know anyone here and am determined to make something of our time here. I have done some serious blog stalking and have found my inspiration! Here is my To Do List for the Summer!

5/6. Lemon Tree Again… Go check it out! Just celebrating Easter this looks like a fun project to do! I’ve been wanting to use newspapers/books for a craft. the one of the right is a Valentines Day wreath they used scrapbook paper and made flowers.

7. DI and thrift stores here I come in search of all kind of frames! I love this! I like the wall painted with the frames just a brown color, but for those like me who cant paint their walls because we live in apartments it still is cute with the frames painted a bold contrasting color like the teal! Lemon Tree Again… Aren’t they Fabulous!

8. When I saw this one I thought they bought it! What they did was find some would panels and used a door mat that’s right a DOOR MAT as there stencil! Pretty thrifty! And this is how it turned out! (Lemon Tree)

I was playing on the computer while James was doing his own thing, honestly not paying much attention to what he was doing. Hey. Kids need a little independence, but it also helps that we don’t have a lot of things with us this summer for him not to get into! I look down to my side and here is James just chillin in his tuber ware chair! I love it! I’ve been trying to capture these little moments because I think to myself; this photo will look awesome in his wedding video! I know that is many, many, many years away but I still think it!

James has become quite the character these days! He loves smiling especially because he squints his little eyes and pushes his front teeth out of his mouth and walks around doing this all throughout the day! I found him sitting in his stroller just hanging out by himself and took the camera out and he worked it! I love it! I’m just glad I captured it on film!

Two Years today I was sitting next to my husband in the temple waiting patiently to get married! I remember we both had the biggest smiles on our faces I wasn’t nervous or scared just happy to be marrying my Best Friend!

He is the best husband in the world! He works so hard for our family, and always puts us first! He is such a great example to me and to James! James loves to hang with his Dad! They are wrestling, chasing each other, making each other laugh, reading together, and I LOVE it! I love watching James sit on Jer’s lap, and than he turns his little head and looks up at him! It is a tender moment for me because I imagine him thinking “ I want to be just like you Dad! “ James has brought so such happiness in our lives!

I can’t believe it is 2 years today! We have had so many blessings in our life! I am so thankful for my marriage to Jeremy! ( ha-ha I don’t have another one!) He is my Best Friend! I love him more than I did the day I married him! I just think that couldn’t be possible but it IS!

Easter was so much fun! I have been looking forward to having an Easter egg hunt with james! I just knew he would love it! Which he did! Last year I heard about Baby Animals Day over at the American Heritage West Center, I had just given birth to James and wanted to go but you can’t take a week old infant to see bears, pigs, ducks, and cows and stay healthy! When it rolled around again I was so STOKED!! We took James and it was snowing a little and we got in at discounted price so SCORE for us!! I loved it more than James as you can tell by my ear to ear smile! Our favorite was seeing the baby bears! James liked petting the sheep, and ducks! I hope next year has better weather!!

OK! So James birthday isn't till SATURDAY, but we had a family party for all the April birthdays! I seriously cannot believe that our SON is ONE!! This year has flown by! James is so funny, and it has been a blast being his parents! He really livens things up! His smile is so contagious!

SPRING BREAK

James and I went to Cali to go visit the Family! We flew and both ways we had our own row!! It was so nice! Every time someone was about to pass i would put james down so he could walk where ever he wanted, with the intent of if they were suppose to sit next to us that they would sit somewhere else until they were kicked out! So it worked or really no one picked to sit next to us! My mom and dad got a little kid seat for the bike and bought him a helmet and horn! James was loved honking his HORN! It was so cute! Jeremy has been teaching James to hang from anything he can grab with his little cute hands, I dont think my dad believed me so for our first bike trip to the park up the street and James showed papa what he could do with his little muscles!

We went for a family Bike ride down at Newport Beach! It was awesome, we rented a tandem bike and rode up and down the boardwalk! James was such a good sport! Doesn't he just look like a little kid!!?

Ever since James has gotten older everyone always says "James looks like Jeremy," I am happy that he looks like his dad! BUT, just once in a while it's nice to hear someone say he looks a lot like you! Ha ha I did carry him for 9 months, and had to deliver him NATURALLY, and have all the body marks of it, ALL babies should look like their mothers! I'm teasing, but i just wanted to put up my baby picture next to James and see what everyone else sees!! =)

Crocheting is Cool

As you know I've been trying to develop new skills and one has been crocheting! I love it! It is addicting! I have been teaching myself and it has been fun! I got a book from the library and it has helped me out so much! It is a little kid verison of crocheting but nonetheless I know how to crocheting now!! I did have some trouble reading the patterns, but I called a friend and she helped me out sooo much!! Im so glad I called her! This is my very first ever project! And I am so happy that it turned out normal!!

James just turned 9 months yesterday! He also just got his first two bottom teeth new years eve! he likes to bite everything especially people!

Also, Friday i went to the doctors because i wasn't feeling well at all and i found out that my eardrum burst! I have never had any problems with my ear, but hey there's a first for everything! I have to take antibotics and relax! I can do that! What i cant do is the high ringing in my ear! It hurts so bad!

Sewing Madness

Lately I've gotten the crafty bug! I've really try to tap into my homemaking skills, so as of lately my wonderful mother in law has taught me some skills that will hopefully last a very long time! Well... I made a few headbands with flowers that i made, and also i wanted to make james a tie and this is how it came out! I am pretty proud of myself!

Christmas 2010

I know i probably should of posted this before my last one but better late than never!! We left for Christmas break December 18 and headed to California with a full car! My parents drove back down with us so it was a tight squeeze! I was hoping to come to warm weather but we came to rain it rain 5 days straight! Im a home body so it didn't bother me but Jeremy felt trapped! We had such a great time with my family we spent good quality time and of course we were spoiled!! We love taking time to visit home!! James was so cute! He opened i think one present total and I got to open the rest! He is growing so fast! He doesn't really crawl anymore he holds onto things and walks along everything, he says dada all the time! I will say "mama" and he smiles and says "dada" like he knows exactly what he's doing!! It just makes me laugh! We recently just taught him ball it comes out " ba " and "Ah oh" he also mimics you if you are talking kind of high he will start jabbering! I love being James's mom and teaching, nurturing, and playing with him all the time!

What would you do if you didn't have to get up everyday and do your hair? You could spend more time in bed sleeping, hanging with friends and family, you wouldn't have to get up extra early for church you could just put a wig on and be done for the day! Yes, a wig! I never thought of it until a sweet lady in my home ward had my sister and I over to try on wigs!! Ive always wanted to see if I would look good blond! And with wigs if your feeling like a blond that day you have that option!

this was the first wig I tried on and I loved it! But definitely too blond for me! The second photo is like when you braid and sleep on it and this is what comes out!

Ok seriously ive had this secret that I've always wanted to go platinum blond! the left one reminds me of a mermaid!

I haven’t been back to South Dakota since 2001. I know it’s been forever and a light-year! My parents were coming up to spend Thanksgiving with Jeremy and I, so they came a little before and went and visited my dads parents! I Love them!! They are so cute and funny!! Well the drive there was fine, we hit a little fog no big deal, and dad was driving! Only 11 hours. We stayed Saturday to Wednesday morning. Driving back to Utah through Wyoming was insane! It looked like we were driving in dry ice! It was super sunny, so it was already hard to see. The roads were icy, semis driving like their mini coopers! And all drivers from California that have never seen a tenth of weather like this before let alone trying to drive in it! Well we survived after 12 hours of driving! Logan had a blizzard the previous day so the roads weren’t plowed very well! So we finally made it back to the land of the living! Everyone was a good sport! Even James!! Pictures coming soon!!

we all went down to perry for the night to celebrate Halloween and Stephanie's birthday! Fall has come to Logan Utah and the leaves are changing and I've been wanting to take some fall photos of James while it is still colorful! We are in the ormsby's backyard and it was such a good spot! James was a little puppy for Halloween, on a side note some lady in wal-mart thought he was a cow?? Does he look like a cow? Any who... I think James looks adorable and he was a great model for me while i snapped a few photos!

I dressed up as a spotted dog too! And i darkened my hair and got bangs! Let me tell you I've had friends walk right past me and not even recognize me with my new dew! I love it, i feel so mysterious!

Grandma Ormsby the cat, Amanda Clark Cleopatra (jer's cuz), Stephanie the cowgirl (sis-n-law), Tonja the Investigator (sis-n-law), and Neal the V for Vendetta guy ( jer's uncle) We had so much fun! We played a lot of minute to win it games, unfortunately we did not win the whole thing but it was a blast!

James loves his dad! Jer didn't want to dress up so I made a deal that if he didn't dress up then I get to cut his hair! So coming soon his haircut by me!

Well I cant believe that its November tomorrow and soon it will be Thanksgiving and my parents and little sister will be here! I couldnt not post this adorable picture of him! He is 6 months old and I know poeple always say " OI dont know where the time went" But i really cant beleive how fast time flys! by Christmas he is going to be 8 months and hopefully crawling!

I love PLAID!! James just got his 6 month shots and in knocked him out! Our doctor gave him a stick and he wouldnt let it out of his sight! This was the last day he was in his carrier carseat! We moved him to his big boy carseat! He loves it becasue he can see more and he's sitting up!

Ok. Is it just me? I love baby bottoms!! There little tushes are so cute! James loves his baths but more he loves to grab at the water coming out of the fosset!

I love Hoodies! Jeremy and I are always wearing our hoodie! I espically love this outfit for that reason!

James doest let himself lay down anymore, he likes to be sitting up doing everything now. He really always has to know whats going on around him or he feels left out!

James is really coming into his personality! He is the most chill baby i know! He only cries when he misses me!! Yep thats right! HA HA Yeah right! He only yelps when he is hungry! James First Hair Cut

Everyone kept asking us are you going to cut James’s hair? I always told them no! But as you see the next in the few photos it looks like James has a toupee on! He also doesn’t look every happy, it was almost bed time and he wasn’t feeling the jumper! I’ve cut Jeremy’s hair twice; I had a little experience under my belt. =)

My mother in law Beth gave me a few tips to cutting boys hair, I combed in forward and I can’t bELieVe how LONG it was!! I know this sounds weird but I LOvE the sound of cutting hair!! James did pretty well for sitting in his bumbo through the whole thing!!

School is up and running! We are defeniltey running are little butt's ragged!! I have started my internship at LDS family Services and I am LOVING it! I finally feel like this is what im suppose to be doing with my life/career! Jeremy is doing well, he is taking a heavy load... genetics....pyshology....math....ecology...blah! It has been hard to juggle james but were doing it! I think James is going to be the most popular baby on campus because we take him there all the time. We usually are in the libary but people always stare at us, we take the bus up to campus which is another task in of it self! But James is a tropper! He doesnt really mind, he loves being outside!

Since almost everyone in our family is here we are doing a little family reunion! It has been so much fun so far, we went to the Angels game they played Texas and we WON 6-5! It was crowded over 38 thousand people were there! We had so much fun, it was James's first professional baseball game!! James loved it! He is so ADORABLE with his hoodie on!!

Jer and I took James for his first swim day! Jeremy made me promise him that he wouldn't go swimming until he came out to CA so he could be there for James very first swimming experience!! It was hot and I was more than ready to take him in, it has been hard to not put James in the pool since I have been here visiting my parents and pools are more than accessible! At first James was not liking the water which is weird because he LOVES his baths! We put him in and he really didn't know what was going on and why it was all the sudden cold and when he finally realized that he didn't like it he let us know!! We had to lather the sunscreen all over his head! He smelt like sunscreen even after his bath!

Jer jumped into the pool with James and walked across to where we were at! James loved it he was just taking it all in! We think he just didn't like being on his back! He wanted to be up and seeing everything! I cant wait to take him again!!

Where has the time gone?? Seriously it cant be that my little guy is already 2 months OLD!! The past two months have flown by, he is smiling and cooing all the time! He loves to snuggle with mommy! He still likes to sleep a lot but there is the occasional day where he likes to stay up all day! He is a very easy going guy, he only cry's when hes hungry, wet, poopie, or wants mommy! So I have some time to spare so I will tell you how it REALLY went! So lets start from a weeks out when I starting getting checked. My first appointment I wasn’t dilated but I was 70% to 75% effaced. Week 2 I was dilated to a 2 and still 75% effaced. Week 3 I was dilated at a 3 and still 75% to 80% effaced. Friday April 16 I had a doctors appointment at 11:30am and was dilated to a 4 and 80% to 85% effaced! At this time I hadn't felt any contractions, I did feel some pains throughout the last few weeks. My doctor told us she was going to induce me on Monday April 19, 2010. I called my parents and told them that they could come up for the weekend so they don’t have to rush up to Utah. They left California around 6pm.

FRIDAY APRIL 16, 2010
So around 4pm Jeremy went off to work like he does every Friday, I was feeling perfectly fine. Jeremy's family even came up that day and i was totally content! I was laying down on my couch after Jeremy left, I started writing in my journal and by 5:30pm I started getting some painful pains i started writing down the times these pains were coming. I then realized I was having contractions!! I couldn’t believe it was happening! Around 7pm they were coming 8-11 mins. apart. They were coming on strong and i decided to call Labor and Delivery I told them all my info, and they told me that they tell mothers to come in when contractions 3-5 mins. apart. But I could come in if the pain was too much for me. I told them no maybe ill wait to make sure that they were consistent.

8pm

8pm came around and they were coming every 3-4 mins. Jeremy just got home form work. And i told him that I didn’t want to be at home. So we packed the car for the hospital and we were off. I asked Jeremy to call my mom to see what we should do. She said we should wait for about an hour till 9pm. We said ok, Jeremy and I went to Down east basics to give his friend some money and we bought some home decorations. While we were in there i had about 3 contractions. We then we went to Burger king because I didn’t want to go into the hospital with an empty stomach! I forgot to get sprite at burger king so my wonderful husband ran over to Wal-Mart to get me some sprite at this time it is about 8:45pm. When Jer got back in the car i said call the hospital we are going in! We were only a few minute drive to the hospital.

9pm

We got to the hospital a little after 9pm we got out and went straight to the elevator. We didn’t bring anything in, we weren’t even thinking! I had about 2 contractions while I was getting checked in.

9:15pm

I was in bed by 9:15pm and they checked me and I was dilated to a 6! I looked at the nurse and said "WHAT!? Are you SERIOUS?" They asked if I wanted an epidural! Of course yes! They told me the anestilogist just went into a room. I said is there anyway he can come to me first since I’m further along? They just looked at me and said i was next.

10 mins. Later….
I was checked again and dilated to a 7! Still no epidural. Anytime anyone walked through the door, I said "Are you here to give me the epidural?"

15 mins. Later…

I was dilated to an 8. Still no epidural. I let everyone know in my room that i was a pansy and I needed an epidural!! They called my doctor.

10 mins. Later...

I was dilated to a 9 and my water still hadn’t been broken because I wanted an epidural! When I heard I was at a 9, I turned to my nurse and said "I’m not getting an epidural am I?" My nurse turned to me and said “Sorry, honey your not!" I blame my mother for telling us to wait! =) I looked at Jeremy and said “I can’t do this without an epidural!" He was so supportive and said yes you can! I didn’t take any birthing classes so I was scared!!

I didn’t know I could scream that loud! I have never felt that much physical pain in my life!! 3 pushes later our little son was BORN AT 10:10pm! And it was such a great feeling to have him out!! My total labor was around 5 1/2 hours! I never thought i was going to go that fast! By the time James was born my parents were barley to Vegas! He only cried when he was poked and prodded!

Ok, Seriously who doesnt play fight, wrestle, pillow fight with their husbands, brother, boyfriend. Well I DO!! Jeremy and I have had waster fights, paint fights, twinkie fights, whip cream fights all while we were dating!! Last night we were pillow fighting and some what wrestling being 9 months pregnant! We were loud but not that loud!
Twenty minutes after we finished our little play fight, an ANGRY pounding was at our door! I was in the front room while jeremy was packing some things. I looked through the peep hole and there was a POLICE OFFICER at our door!! SERIOUSLY! Im sure I looked great, it was general conference weekend and had been in pj's all day!

SO here I am bright red, wondering why Im in trouble??? The officer asks me if he can come in... Who is going to tell a police officer they cant come in!!?? Really!? So he came in and told us that are neighbors under neath us called in becasue they thought we were having a "DOMESTIC DISPUTE" HAHAHAHA REALLY!! I can count on one hand how many times Jeremy and I have had disagreements!!

I busted out laughing, and told them we were having a " Pillow Fight" He asked if he could see my husband. Jeremy comes around the corner wondering what the heck is going on, while his face turns cherry red! Poor guy!! We had to show our id's to the police officer, GREAT! Were now on their RADAR!! =) His partner that was a woman came to our door and he told her why we were loud and she started laughing!

NEXT TIME When Pillow Fighting make sure you are not too loud!!

I dont know how many of you knew that I was a coach down at Box Elder High School I helped out with Varsity and JV! It was a FUN experience, and filled with TONS of draMa!! I forgot how high school was, i had a great time coaching the girls! Here are a few pics of that night!

Let me tell you this girl is one of the funniest people i have ever met! Anytime she was sitting next to me on the bench she would be cracking me up the whole time!!

TON BON!! this was her first year playing basketball and she won the MOST IMPROVED award! She is so cute! (by the way this is JER's sister) Anywho!! She did good this year for not knowing a lot about basketball!!

This girl is another funny one!! She is so sweet and is fun to be around!! She is going to SNOW College in the fall and i know she will be the life of the party!!

im a little late in posting the next few posts! Jeremy's mom and sisters thru me a baby shower and it was so much fun!! I got spoiled!! (FOR ALL YOU CALIFORNIANS YOU DIDNT MISS OUT ON ALL THE FUN!! Daddy Diaper Party

I decdied i wanted to throw Jeremy a "MAN SHOWER" SOOOO I did my research! I love bump.com it gave me the idea of DADDY DIAPER POKER NIGHT!! Jeremy was hesistent but I did it anyway!! It was a modest party, I invited about ten of jeremy's friends and about six showed which was perfect because if you've been in our apartment you would know that we couldnt fit all those grown boys in our tiny apartment! Well, I felt like quite the homemaker, I made my first triffle!! Thanks to the Holmes she gave me a beautiful triffle dish, my mom gave me a simple recipe and I was proud of my dessert making skills. If any of you know me well enough you would know my cooking skills are not up to par!! Well I had a lot of FUN throwing the party we got A LOT diapers and they boys had fun!!

I hit my 3rd trimester mark and let me fill you in that i am totally ready for this baby to come out! So i can sleep, eat and peee whenever i want, not get tired so quickly, and to exercise again! Although I say Im ready, it really wouldnt be the best thing if he came out today. I am in school taking five class so it would make it a lot harder to attend my classes!! Last night we went on our favorite date, the USU basketball game! We both love the game and love to support our team! At half time the entertainment was a dancing group for the ages 50 to 93! Let me tell you these ladies cant bust a MOVE!! The last one is of the 93 year old lady dancing!!

Christmas Vacation

Well its been way to long, since I last blogged and a lot has happened!! We were able to go to sunny California for Christmas!! We were defentiely ready for some warm weather we left on the 19th with 15 degree weather, we arrived in CA around 10:30pm and to warm brisk evening it was beautiful. Christmas vacation was awesome here are a few pictures of our stay in California!! My mom always gets us some sort pj's but we had some fun posing our pj pants!!

Here are some prego pictures I'm about 24 weeks so 6 months! But you know i have this little stink about being pregnant....because the doctor tells you 9 months but in reality its really like 10 months!! because if you go by weeks its really 40 weeks and your 9 months prego at 37 weeks thats just bothers me a little bit!! =)

Today is Jeremy's 23rd Birthday!! Yes I am older only by five months! He is the greatest husband!! He is so wonderful, and always asking what he can do for me! I love him so much just wanted to give a shoot out for his Birthday!! We went to Iggys resturant last night with some friends and we had a blast!! He loved all of his presents!! Ha ha =)

So, there will be photos of the bump soon... Well pregnancy has been treating me well, so far i have not thrown up, i mostly am tired, hungry non stop, and growing!! Jeremy has been on many nightly runs for food. One night i really wanted egg rolls and asian dumplings , and he went and got them! He is so sweet!! I love him!! There has been moments of emotional insanity! I cry over everything! Example, Jeremy's birthday I thought he didnt like what I got him so I started to cry, while jeremy was laughing!!

SCHOOL HAS BEGUN!!

Jeremy and I started school on August 25, we are glad it started so we dont have to work as much! Jeremy and I both got new jobs for the school year!! Jeremy works at Jimmy Johns a sandwhich shop and delivers sandwhichs! I work at the new Texas Roadhouse in Logan! It hasn't opened yet, so I've enjoyed my little break!! Im super excited to be working at such a fun resturant!! Jeremy is already heavliy into study organic chemistry and I have not yet get that motivated to study! =) I study! But, in my defense I dont have any hard classes like organic chemistry to worry about.

Over Labor Day, we went to Willard Bay with Jermey's family! They had wave runners, and a water trampoline! It was so much fun! Jeremy loves to go to the lake! The weather was prefect for september!!

A couple of weeks ago, I went to our school's volleyball game they were playing aganist BYU, my cousin plays on the BYU Volleyball team it was so fun to see heather with her team. She didnt get in but, if they had put her in maybe they would of won?? =) It was so exciting to see her and i cant wait till BYU comes back up to logan!!

Lutz Family Reunion

Jeremy's mother's side had a BIG Family Reunion and his grandparents 50th Anniersary, it was a lot of fun! They have a pretty big family! We got days off work so we can go, thursday we went to the new Temple Open House in Utah, it was really nice to go with all the family! Then the kids for age 12 to 18 went and did baptisms for the dead. While we took naps! Jeremy was in this funky position! I had to take a picture!

Ok, this doesn't look like a funky position but he had his butt in the air and his air was all twisted!

The next day we got up early and went on a family hike! Let me tell you i thought I was about to DIE!! I really dont exercise, so this was really the first time this summer of me exercising! But, Jeremy and I also hiked in sandals... not the smartest idea. But in our defense, they told us that it wasn't a hard hike. Then later that day we went to a water park and we had a BLAST!!

The next day we went to a park, we had to take family photos and we had the great color orange!!

Haley's Visit!!

Haley, came and visited Jeremy and I from Hawaii! Actually, Nick the boy in the the photo and the bottom paid for her ticket out from Hawaii and found a STEAL of a deal for $232 plane ticket! Well, our camera wasnt charged till the last few days and haley has all the photos on her camera that I just gave her. (so im sure there will be more photos on her blog soon)

This is how our week went:

Tuesday: Haley arrived in Logan, UT!! She was a little tuckered out from her plane ride! Played games and had girl talk!

Wednesday: We went and played all around town, and went and My Sister's Keeper! Went out to eat!

Thursday: We went to this fun, CHEAP, water park down in Draper, UT! We had a BLAST and all got SuNBRUNT! Haley did get a little feisty in the lazy river with some kids and it was so funny!!

FriDAY: We went down the canal on inner tubes which was so freezing that I opted out for obvious reasons! They all had a blast!!

It was so fun to have my little sister here with me in Utah! Haley always keeps me laughing!! I love her so much!!

So, Jeremy and I went down to Alpine to go to Hunter's baptism, hunter was very excited and had a smile on his face the whole day! He is one funny kid!! It was so nice to get out of Logan for the weekend and be with family! Also, my Uncle dave came back from Iraq that same day we had fun spending time with family!!

BEAR LAKE

Jeremy's best friends family invited us to go up stay with them in Bear lake at their time share it was so FUN!! We had a BLAST! We played all day Monday! We went four wheel riding, up in the hills of Bear Lake! This was my first time going four wheel riding! Then Jeremy wanted to get a wave runner, WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!! It was so beautiful up there and maybe one day will get a cabin up there!!

Here we are on our last trip to Vancouver, Canada!! We decided to get a scooter for the day and we had a BLAST!! It was so funny roaming around Canada without a care! (I was nervous being so close to the cars but Jeremy loved it!!)

Pretty fun bus!! here are some random photos we took, the second picture is our view from this park we were at. That raccoon was just walking along side the road next to us doing it's thing it was fun to see this animal cruising along!

One Month Married and LOVING IT!!

This was the first stop on our curise in Astoria, Oregon. If any of you are fimilar with Astoria, this is where the "Goonies" movie was shot. We visited the jail, it was so beautiful!! It was green everywhere, and you dont have to pay sales tax there either!!

SECOND STOP....... Victoria, CANANDA

Victoria, Cananda was BEAUTIFUL!!! I was so excited to go to a different country!! the photo on the bottom left is the oldest hotel in Victoria it had vines covered all over the building. There was a china town in every big city in canada, it was so fun to go and visit!! The last part of the honeymoon i will post soon!!

MARRIED and back from the HONEYMOON!!

We just got back from our HONEYMOON today and it was a BLAST!! We ate , we relaxed, slept, spa, etc... We are glad to be home in California for just a few days before we make our way back up to Utah on Tuesday morning. WE are so grateful, for all the many people who came to share our special day with us!! Here are just a few photos of our DAY!! Hope you enjoy!!
